According to a recent survey of 282 global business leaders, 77 percent of respondents listed digital transformation as a top priority in 2016. Yet, the study notes that a lack in confidence may hold executives back from reaching that goal.
Per the study, "An overwhelming majority of respondents believe that digital transformation is not a one-off job: 93 percent agree that digital transformation is a continuous journey." It's an interesting note, and one recently paralleled by Rafe VanDenBerg, editor-in-chief at MindBrew:
"There’d be no need or opportunity to improve if the status quo were sufficient. As such, it’s somewhat axiomatic that improvement requires change. But the status quo is incredibly powerful. And in the interest of efficiency and scalability, companies’ procedures, processes, and behavioral norms are essentially 'wired' to resist change."
In his recent interview with change management experts Scott McAllister of Prosci and Suraj Mohandas of Zilliant, the group dug into the quantifiable benefits of effective change management, the fundamental concepts that need to be embraced, and the essential phases and steps that are required to get it right.
An effective change management approach is critical to any successful digital transformation. As such, MindBrew has provided exclusive access to the interview (normally reserved to subscribers only) for readers of the Zilliant blog.
